Fritz Wunderlich, who died tragically in his thirties when he slipped down a flight of stairs and fractured his skull, is, for many, the greatest tenor of his generation and a favourite tenor of many. Of late, in collaboration with the Wunderlich family, many of his recordings which have lain dormant for long, have come to light.
